I was tasked to direct a design team of 3 to create Cardi’s first signature shoe. Timelines were beyond tight. Our objective was to honor the icon, being the Club C. We worked with Cardi to create a design based around her personality and favorite fashion moments. We also challenged ourselves to utilize a new clear EVA bottom unit, which requires no rubber outsole.
